Bottom - 4th Prussian attack delayed by Polish lancers

All corps are now on the table

1st and 4th Prussian corps are in close combat with XIII French corps.

This type of fighting does not usually last long, and often results in a decisive result.

3rd Prussian corps are in a good position to protect the right flank

V French corps are well placed to attack the right of 1st Prussian corps

VI French corps have probably arrived too late to have much influence on the battle. The nearness of 3rd Prussian corps is preventing them from taking multiple moves, so their deployment will be slow
