Davout has taken command of XIII corps to preempt the poor card
This took 3 of his 6CP, and he used the remaining 3CP to issue orders to them
V French corps has orders to move to Peine.
As they approach the town they see 3rd Prussian corps moving towards them
With the CinC on the battlefield the corps commander can only change his orders to Halt
He does so, and turns his corps to face the enemy threat.
4th Prussian corps artillery have again failed to inflict casualties on the Polish lancers
His leading infantry brigade have received casualties from the French artillery
Tauentizien has decided to risk an infantry advance against the lancers
If he delays any longer he may run out of time to push home his attack
