Game Notes

3rd Prussian hussars had lost melee with 4th cuirassiers, and retreated behind a friendly square shaken. This brought them just within maximum charge range of 6th chasseur brigade, who charged them. Because they were shaken, the hussars were unable to react and were all cut down. Friendly brigades within 4” had to test morale, just as they would for a rout.

Rule 8 deals with combat quick results

Rule 14 deals with cavalry combats

Blucher has taken command of 4th corps to avoid them missing a turn due to the poor card.

Rule 2 covers CinC taking command of a corps

IV French corps is unable to react to the approaching 1st Prussian corps because they can not see them due to the hill. They will not be able to spot them until the Prussians are at the near edge of the hill.
