Notes on Game

IV French corps are in a desperate situation. Their gunners, cavalry and half of their infantry are in rout to the north of Rosche. Two infantry brigades have routed the left hand Prussian brigade, but are committed to attack three infantry brigades and the Prussian artillery.

Reynier is unable to retreat without leaving his two brigades open to attack. His best brigade is in reserve, leaving his conscript brigade to face the Prussian attack
