Battle of Steinhorst – Move 4

1100-1200 25 July 1813

Table at the start of move 4

Both cavalry brigades are in reserve and shaken

The Prussians have started to advance towards Steinhorst

1st Prussian corps

General Yorck (Gifted) – 5CP – Engage Orders

Artillery advance and unlimber

2, 3 and 4 brigades advance

Hussars test morale for shaken, fail and remain shaken

V French corps

General Laurison (Average) – 5CP – Hold Orders

Artillery unlimber to the left of Steinhorst

20 brigade move into Steinhorst

19 brigade advance to extend battle line

17 brigade form column of attack from square

Cuirassiers test morale for shaken, fail and rout

Notes on Game

Both cavalry brigades are finding it difficult to rally from shaken.

They each require a total of at least 4 on 1D6 to rally

If they fail they also run the risk of going into rout again
